The governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has been elected the
Chairman of PDP Governors Forum. He was elected as the leader of the 14
member forum on Wednesday.

POST recalls that before Mimiko’s election, the immediate past governor
of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Godswill Akpabio, led the group that emerged
after the leadership crisis that engulfed the Nigeria Governors Forum
over who won election as its chairman between former Governors, Jonah
Jang and Rotimi Ameachi.
